Site Investigation Consultancy

Spire Geotechnical Ltd is an independent consultancy specialising in geotechnical engineering, ground investigation and remediation.

Our areas of expertise includes comprehensive Phase 1 Desk Study Reporting, Phase 2 Site Investigation & Interpretative Reporting, Land Contamination Assessment, Coal Mining Risk Assessment and Remediation.

What we do

Phase 1 Assessment

Whether a Preliminary Risk Assessment (PRA), Coal Mining Risk Assessment, Site Reconnaissance Survey, Spire Geotechnical have this covered within a comprehensive desk-study report. The Phase 1 Desk Study is used to scope an intrusive ground investigation or support a planning submission.

Phase 2 Assessment

Geotechnical engineering is at the forefront of what we do best. Gathering information about the ground beneath your build to allow for a safe and cost-effective design. Our Phase 2 Assessment can include both a geotechnical and land contamination assessment. Without site investigation, ground is a hazard.

Geoenvironmental Design

We routinely conduct land contamination assessments as part of our site investigations. Such assessment are often requested as part of a planning submission. Spire specialise in developing comprehensive and cost effective remediation strategies to make your site safe and suitable for its intended use.

Geotechnical Design

Application of earth science through the design of a robust ground model. Whether you have an unstable slope, subsidence in a building, need an earthworks design or temporary works design, Spire can finish such studies according to the technical standards.
